Fresh hope for theatre's future

Specialist consultants are to be asked to devise a strategy to take the town's public entertainment space forward.

Single regeneration budget money from the government is to be used to fund the study into the Alexandra Theatre/Regis Centre site.

The decision to back the investigation with 10,000 was made by the BR21 group which hands out the funding in the town. Arun District Council will also contribute money towards the final cost of the investigation.
