Teenage bowls ace does it again

FOURTEEN-year-old Stuart Holland has achieved an incredible double after winning the Sussex U-25 outdoor bowls championship.

Stuart, who is also the current U-25 indoor champion, is the youngest player to hold both titles.

He said: "I was confident I could do it and it feels really good to win both titles."

Stuart, who plays for Egerton Park indoors and Bexhill outdoors, came back from 13-6 down to beat former junior international Adrian Finnie (Preston) 21-13 in the final at Kingsway, Hove.

He now goes on to the U-25 Champion of Champions in Worthing on August 17, where he will face the Essex champion.
