Sidley contest basement battle
SIDLEY return to Sussex Cricket League action on Saturday July 27 with a basement battle at home to Preston Nomads.
The last time the teams met Sidley were dismissed for 66, but captain Scott Woodroffe is confident of victory this time round. "It is a good chance for us to take maximum points on Saturday. I think we will be able to finish the season in mid-table because confidence in the side is very high at the moment," he said.
Guy Montgomerie has a thigh strain but is expected to play while Chris Honeysett is out with a broken thumb.
