The 22-year-old former Ghana under-20 international joined the club during pre-season and played in the friendlies against Lewes and Aldershot.
Daniel joined the Chelsea youth set-up in 2010 and played regularly for their youth and reserve teams, which is where head coach Dermot Drummy knows him from. He is a former captain of Chelsea’s youth team.

Dermot said: “Danny has done well in pre-season and by signing this non-contract agreement it gives us more time to assess him and give him an opportunity to show us what he can do. I think he’s got a lot of potential and we look forward to working with him going forward.”
Danny was registered in time to be available for selection against Wolves in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
