Rooks face senior cup test

Rooks fans get the chance tonight (Wednesday) to celebrate their team's FA Cup success.

On Saturday, Lewes passed a potentially tricky test at Dunstable with a 2-0 win.

However, manager Steve King will want to ensure the celebrations are not marred by slipping up against St Francis Rangers in the Sussex Senior Cup.

The Haywards Heath-based side are in county league division one and - on paper - should not provide too big a hurdle for the Rooks.

King is likely to use the match to give some players match practice with the hope of bringing others on later in the game when the outcome of the tie is settled.

For Rangers - who play at the Princess Royal Hospital - it is an opportunity for some giant killing.

The match at the Dripping Pan starts at 7.30pm.
