They scored nine points in a 103-48 success and their top three rinks skipped by Gary Wyatt, Peter Tandy and Clunky Clarke, respectively all gained sizeable margins of victory. Alec Vickers and Stan Burvill drew 19-19.
Two days previously, Friars had seen off second-placed East Preston 79-68. Chris Rolph and Clarke won, Wyatt drew with John Holt, but Burvill let the side down with defeat to John Dicker 22-12.

Hide AdPavilion had earlier provided Storrington with the first of their two heavy defeats, 87-67. Eric Pearce, Don Lee and Leo Thompson all won rinks for eight points, but that was outdone by a 104-65 paint-job by West Tarring.
Fred Newman, John Newman, Bill Flint and Derek Baker all won rinks John Newman's 32-19 success over Alan Nicholson the pick.
