Posh and Becks back Cooden golf day

POSH and Becks were among the generous supporters of an auction held by Cooden Beach Golf Club to raise money for charity.

England captain David Beckham donated a signed pair of football boots and football, while wife Victoria autographed some CDs and DVDs to raise thousands of pounds to buy powered wheelchairs for young people with physical disabilities.

Nearly 20,000 was raised from the auction and golf day with more than 2,000 coming from the sale of Beckham's boots.

Other lots included a framed sequence of 16mm film from the 1966 World Cup final and a Liverpool shirt signed by the players.
