A crowd of 1,700 attended Mill Road two Wednesdays ago, which was just 300 short of the approximate number attracted to Woodside 12 months previously.

The spectators at Arundel paid 5 a head (2.50 concessions), as opposed to the 8 (4) which they would have been charged at Worthing.

But the sum raised is going to be just enough for Mullets to survive for the forthcoming season, and very little else. Clubs all over the county rely on a lot of hard work and time given freely in order to run smoothly.
