HOW HAS IT GONE SO FAR?

NOW 2003 is upon us, it is time for our County League sides to take stock of their progress this season and look forward to the rest of the year.

Ben Steppel asked Arundel's Mike Rowland, East Preston's Vic Short, Richie Reynolds of Wick and Andy Taylor and Carl Stabler from Littlehampton for their views.

What's your high point of the season so far?

MR: The FA Vase run especially, with the wins at Wallingford and Whitehawk, has been terrific.

VS: We played ever so well at Southwick to win 4-0, much better than a lot of people thought we would.

RR: Earlier in the season we turned in a terrific performance to win 1-0 at Chichester right after an 11-1 away defeat to Lymington.

AT: The appointment of Carl as manager has lifted the club.
