Day two saw the turn of the grade three and four pairs and groups. At grade three, Antonia Doyle, Laura Gow and Malek Jbali were determined to come out top for the South East region, and did so in fine style by coming sixth.

In a notoriously difficult category, Esme Campbell-Marshall and Tia West performed their socks off with their grade three pairs routine to achieve another creditable sixth place.

Charlotte Wynne-Pennels and Emily Kennedy earned the third highest artistry score of the grade four pairs group, but two time faults slipped their overall placing to ninth.

Hollington coach Tracy Webb said: “ We were by far the largest contingent representing the South East region and were dominant for the region in all grades.”
