Here she talks about the card for day one (Thursday) of the three-day May Festival, which includes the Height of Fashion Stakes.

She says: “In the British Stallion Stud Supporting British Eacing EBF Maiden at 2.00, I like the look of Kiyoshi for trainer Charlie Hills.

“She was close fourth in a strong maiden last time and looks the one to beat here.

Lamusawama would be my pick in the Winner Plant UK Stakes at 2.35. He won last time out on his return to the all-weather and looks like he could go close.

George Guru beat a few of his rivals in the 3.10, the Wright Joinery Company Stakes, over course and distance last time out and should be respected.

“In the 3.45, the Height of Fashion Stakes, Trapeze would be my tip. She was unlucky in a handicap here at Goodwood last time and the step up to 1m 2f should suit her.

“I like the look of Cosmo de Medici in the Hippo Stakes at 4.20. He won this in 2011 and showed some promise last time out.

“In the last race at 4.55, the Construction Raceday Apprentice Stakes, I think Commandingpresence has a chance as she has run well here at Goodwood.”
