Golfer's shot in the arm for charity

The event raised 7,500 which will go towards paying for a sensory room at Glyne Gap School.

The highlight of the day was Carol Yau's hole-in-one at the 10th which in itself raised more than 1,500 for the beneficiaries. Each hole was sponsored by local businesses which provided a number of team and individual prizes.

To round off a most successful day in splendid weather there was a presentation and tombola. Club captain Bob Laker thanked all those responsible for organising the event.
