Evans carded another three-under 69 in round three on Saturday, registering a birdie and a bogey on the front nine, and three birdies in the last six holes.

He closed with an eventful two-under 70 yesterday (Sunday). Evans had two birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey on the front nine before carding five birdies and a bogey during a very good back nine of 33.

Evans has finished between 29th and 46th in five of the six events he’s contested on the 2016 European Tour schedule so far, and is up to 56th in the early stages of the season-long Race to Dubai standings.

He now heads to South Africa for the Tshwane Open, which will get under way on Thursday.
