United hopeful for return to winning ways despite big freeze

HASTINGS United are hopeful of returning to action tonight (Tuesday) when they take on AFC Uckfield at The Pilot Field in the Sussex Senior Cup.

The U’s were left kicking their heels at the weekend after their Ryman Premier match against Folkestone Invicta fell victim to the bad weather.

Despite the freezing temperatures it is reported that the pitch is perfectly playable at present and any potentially vulnerable areas have been covered to protect them.
