Burgess Hill have smashed their 'Light Up Leylands' fundraising target in a month

Just 28 days after the Crowdfunder campaign was launched with the aim of netting £10,000, it has closed with a total of £10,690 secured.

Club director John Rattle said: “The response to the campaign has been amazing! We would like to thank everybody who has donated – large or small.

"We are now planning to renovate the floodlights in the coming weeks, and also, thanks to the additional donations, we can make our ground Covid-19 compliant for when we can welcome back our fantastic supporters.”

“WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYBODY WHO HAS DONATED – LARGE OR SMALL.”

The club will be in touch soon with people who have bought 'rewards' as part of the the fundraising.
