The grade-five event was the final one in a series of junior tournaments staged in the club’s dome over the winter competition season.
It was organised using the Fast4 Tennis format, each match comprising two Fast4 sets (first to four games) with a match tie-break (to ten points) for the third set if necessary.

Tournament referee Peter Cook said: “Once again we were entertained to tennis of a very high calibre. It was also encouraging to see one of our own players do so well to reach the final.
“The Fast4 Tennis format has proved popular over the winter season. It has enabled us to accept larger number of entrants thanks to the shorter match times, allowing up to a 16-player draw for a one-day event.”
