Steve Magoffin said he could hardly believe taking eight wickets in one innings as Sussex dominated Somerset on a thrilling first day at Horsham.
The medium/quick right-armer bowled a near perfect opening spell to claim career best figures of 8-20 as Somerset were bowled out for just 76 before lunch.
The Aussie paceman said he was “thrilled” after an “amazing day” at Horsham, and was also happy to add some runs late in the day as Sussex closed on 298-9 for a lead of 222.
