CRICKET
THE sun shone and the fans came out in their numbers as 2006 county champions Sussex were entertained at the recreation ground in West Chiltingtonas part of Richard Montgomerie's benefit match against West Chiltington and Thakeham CC.
Following a net session with around 50 youngsters, Sussex won the toss and , as is the norm on these occasions.opted to bat on a hard flat wicket.
West Chiltington's bowlers were not fazed by their opponents. The real star of West Chiltington's bowlers was Mushtaq Armed, who enthralled the crowd.
