Crathern looks to retain title

WORTHING'S Lewis Crathern will be looking to retain his British Kitesurfing Championship in the final round at Hayling Island this weekend.

Crathern won the 2006 Pro Men's title and he leads this year's championship, ahead of Sam Light, Denzil Williams and Ali Barrett.

British Kite Surfing Association Richard Gowers said: "This is the final round in this year's championship.

"Spectators can expect to see a weekend display of awesome riding with epic moves, as the fight for the titles and podium remains strong."

The action starts at 10am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
