Common host their own World Cup
I'LL be Ronaldo, you be Oliver Khan. The World Cup Final wasn't the only football spectacular on Sunday as Little Common FC hosted their annual Six-a-Side Fun Day for under 7s and under 8s.
Around 40 teams from the region descended on the Recreation Ground in Pear Tree Lane with the emphasis on fair play and fun.
Tournament organiser Daniel Eldridge said: "The aim of the tournament was for all the boys and girls to enjoy themselves, win or lose.
"On the whole the tournament was a great success which was made possible by the sporting nature that all the matches were played in." The event was sponosred by PGA.
