Carriage Driving Fair Great Success

In spring sunshine two thousand people flocked from all over the country and from overseas to the 10th South of England Carriage Driving Fair, organised by Brockham Harness Club, on the Ardingly Showground in West Sussex.

Newcomers, club drivers and a who's who of driving came together for a blend of exciting displays, invaluable driving demonstrations and valuable trade stands selling soft toys to carriages.

From the informative versatility of Open Horse National & Points Champion Di Hayes & Matador to the exhilaration & speed of The Horse Team Challenge, won by Australia's top international driver Boyd Exell (who also gave a valuable Master Class assisted by his wife Preetha), the main arena programme ranged across the spectrum.
