Worthing training provider receives quality mark

A TRAINING provider has been awarded with a prestigious quality mark in recognition of its commitment to young people in and leaving care.

Asphaleia, based in Liverpool Terrace, Worthing, received the Buttle UK Quality Mark after demonstrating a ‘robust strategy’ to ensure students from a care background could access a package of financial, pastoral and educational support.

Katerina Rodger, Asphaleia operations development manager, said: “We are thrilled to be awarded the Buttle Quality Mark. Asphaleia is really passionate about supporting young people from a care background in life and learning and into employment.”
