Worthing overnight road works alert
OVERNIGHT work to improve the road surface on the A27 will start on Monday, and is due to continue until Friday, June 1.
The high-grip surface is being renewed and road markings repainted on the stretch from Cote Street to Mill Lane, which is just under a mile.
The work will be carried out between 7.30pm and 5am on weekdays, when the traffic flow is at its lowest.

Hide AdA single lane closure and temporary traffic lights will be in place.
Temporary diversion routes are set to be in operation at the junctions with Ivydore Avenue, Durrington Hill, Salvington Hill, Chute Way, Hayling Rise, Cotswold Road and Uplands Avenue.
