Woman and child released from lift in Horsham town centre
A woman and child were released from a lift by firefighters at a bank in West Street yesterday morning (Thursday October 2).
Emergency services were called to the bank at around 9.20am where a woman and a child were reportedly stuck in a lift between the first floor and the ground floor of the building.
The pair were released by crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue service and the lift was isolated.
