Waste plant proposal to be discussed tonight

A new planning application has been made to build a green waste composting facility at Broadbridge Farm in Ashington.

The previous plan was refused in 2010 amid opposition from residents, parish council and Arundel and South Downs MP Nick Herbert.

Submitted by Olus Environmental Ltd, the proposed facility in London Road would incorporate a tipping shed, compost storage area and access road.
