Udimore

LENT LUNCHES: Today (Friday) in Brede Rectory between noon and 1.30pm there will be one of a series of lunches (soup, bread and cheese) arranged by the Brede and Udimore Overseas Group. These are primarily social events, to which all are welcome, offering congenial company and a wholesome meal (in return for whatever donation to the group you'd like to give). The next one will be at the same time next Wednesday (March 16) in our St Mary's Community Hall.

SUNDAY SERVICES IN ST MARY’S: Holy Communion will be at 8am this week. The monthly 11.15am Family Service for All will be followed by refreshments and another chance for a social chat.

MOBILE LIBRARY: The same day as the Udimore Lent Lunch (Wednesday March 16) the Mobile Library will be at the Hall between 11.15 and 11.45am. So why not combine the two by first picking up a good read from the library and then staying on for a sociable lunch party in the Hall?

UDIMORE PARISH COUNCIL: On the evening of that same Wednesday (an eventful day indeed) our Parish Council will be meeting in the Hall, starting at 6.30pm. For details of the Agenda, have a look either at the Newsletter, copies of which should have reached every household by then, or at the parish noticeboards.

SPRING BRUNCH: Customers at last Saturday’s mid morning breakfast party were attentively served at their tables by members of the Friends of St Mary’s committee. The event was well attended, and so much enjoyed that it was considered well worth repeating.
