SERVICES IN ST MARY'S: This Sunday morning there will be a Holy Communion service at 8am, and a Family Service for All (followed by refreshments) at 11.15am.

COMMUNITY MEETINGS: On Tuesday evening (May 10) two important annual meetings are due to take place in the Hall. Starting at 6.30pm, the Annual Parish Meeting will be followed at 7.30pm by the AGM of the Parish Council. For further details of these two meetings, please read the May edition of the Parish Council Newsletter, which may well have reached you by now.

ISLAM TODAY, A PERSONAL VIEW: This is the title of a talk to be given in the Hall on Thursday evening (May 12) at 6.30pm (doors open at 6pm), followed by refreshments. The speaker, Penny Hamilton, knows her subject well, having formerly lived in Saudi Arabia for several years. This promises to be an informative and fascinating talk, and not to be missed if you happen to be free that evening. Tickets cost £12.50 and are available by ringing 01797 225206, or at the door. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Friends of Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital.
