Trip to adventure park for Sidley residents

A community project in Sidley has organised a day trip to Knockhatch Adventure Park for residents next month.

The Heart of Sidley partnership are offering the trip for £1 per person with a £5 maximum per family with 50 places available to visit the park on Saturday, September 5.

Organiser Victoria Ferguson said: “Heart of Sidley have taken on board what local residents have said about the lack of facilities for children and families.

“This trip is a great way to get people together and get to know each other on a fantastic day out.”

The partnership earned best in show for their float at Bexhill Carnival and are behind the Family Fun Day this Saturday (August 14).

A £1million Big Lottery grant was given to the community project to spend on Sidley and Victoria will be asking residents how they think the money should be used.

Tickets are first come, first served and only available to Sidley residents.
