Tree pruning in Grange gardens

Essential tree pruning is taking place at Southover Grange Gardens in Lewes this week.

The recent high winds have caused damage to one of the Laurels in Southover Grange Gardens, which has highlighted the need to carry out essential pruning works.

The trees, located adjacent to the Winterbourne Stream will be pruned to reduce their weight and allow fresh new re-growth for future years.

The pruning will also allow more light into the area, which will hopefully facilitate the planting of new shrubs and perennials.
