A272 reopens following collision near Cowfold and Bolney
The A272 Cowfold Road has reopened following a collision between a car and a van this morning (Monday September 8).
The road was closed for several hours, with motorists diverted to the A23 where long queues of traffic formed.
A female driver suffered ‘multiple fractures’ in the collision, and a male van driver was also injured. Both were taken to hospital.
