TRAFFIC: Road reopens following accident near Broadbridge Heath

Police have said the A264 in Broadbridge Heath has been reopened following an accident earlier this evening.

The road was blocked to traffic westbound at the A281 junction with Billingshurst Road, while police cleared debris from the scene, a police spokesperson confirmed.

Police are still in attendance following a call out at 5.55pm.

An ambulance was also called to the scene, and although exact details have not been confirmed, it is not thought that anyone was seriously injured, the spokesperson added.
