This week’s planning applications submitted to Arun District Council

AMBITIOUS East Preston Football Club wants to improve its Lashmar Road ground in readiness for stepping up to the next level of football’s pyramid.

The club, strongly tipped to be promoted from the Sussex County League to the Ryman League at the end of this season, has submitted plans for more covered areas for standing spectators, two turnstiles, a kitchen service area, an extended concrete pathway and new toilets.

ANGMERING: construction of a building comprising five additional hotel bedrooms at Angmering Manor, High Street (this application affects the appearance and character of the Angmering conservation area).

BARNHAM: application for a lawful development certificate for existing use for the storage of caravans and undercover and open air ground storage, land to the rear of the Flint Barn, Yapton Road.

LITTLEHAMPTON: installation of two toilets (one disabled) to existing café at West Beach Café, Rope Walk.

WALBERTON: single-storey extension and new window to east elevation to Lodge Cottage, The Street (this application affects the character and appearance of the Walberton village conservation area.
