Teens in court accused of homophobic assault
TWO 15-year-old boys from Battle are to appear in court accused of a homophobic assault in the town centre.
Police were called to High Street, Battle, at around 8.30am on Friday March 14, following reports that a man had been assaulted.
The two boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Both youths are due to appear before Eastbourne Youth Court on Tuesday June 17.
