The students, who are in Year 11 at the college, will take part in the government initiative for students, which is mainly run in the summer holidays. The programme will include five days in Torquay on an adventure expedition, doing outside and indoor activities.

Mia Doyle and Lucy Freeman said: “We signed up to the programme as it will help us develop life skills and help with life after GCSEs - when we do our CVs, applying for university and university life. It will be a great chance to meet new people and a confidence boost to learn new skills out of the classroom.”
