Steptoe's Georgian Mannequins Collection
From the motley crew, that were carefully positioned in the back of 'Steptoes' house clearance van, to the assortment stationed both in and out of owner Steve Lawrence's shop, people were clearly in awe, with many asking the same questions, 'what are they and where have they come from?'
Steve, who had just acquired close to 60 of the figurines explained: "They are all from a private collection that had been in a display which, up until recently, had been open to the public."

Steve wouldn't say who he purchased the collection from, only that it wasn't anyone local and that it was a something of a mad rush for him to move them all, as he was only given 48 hours notice - and it wasn't just mannequins he had to move, as the collection also included a highwaymans cart and a sedan chair.
Steve has already sold some of the mannequins to local shop owners but others, which are priced from 200 upwards, are still available.
