Startright bouncing along nicely after 10 years

KIDS were bouncing high at Startright nursery on Sunday. The under-5 pre-school celebrated its tenth anniversary year as a charity and hired a bouncy castle to help things along.

Children from the group, based at St Stephen's Church Hall, also enjoyed a variety of summer-fete games such as hoopla and 'hook the duck'.

Past and present pupils and their parents enjoyed a BBQ and home-made cakes.

St Leonard's Road business Bizzy Fingerz, held a stall at the fete and donated 25 per cent of their sales to the group. The school extended their thanks to the committee, parents and staff who gave their time and donated cakes and prizes; and to all that turned up on the day to support Startright. The day's activities raised 369.62 and will help fund a daily lunch club starting in September.
