In addition to their presentation success, the youngsters enjoyed their day at the summit immensely. They took part in three different workshops on the themes on electricity, waste emission and energy use.
This was also a great opportunity for them to meet with others from different schools in order to share their ways of becoming sustainable schools.
Tilly Maher, of the Bexhill team, said: “We learnt a lot through all the different workshops and overall, it was a very worthwhile and enjoyable experience.”
