St George's Day parade

SCOUT groups from across Worthing took to the streets for the annual St George's Day parade on Sunday.

Groups including Beavers, Cubs and Sea Scouts took part in the colourful parades throughout Worthing.

In Tarring, the parade marched from Tarring recreation ground to St Andrew's Church for a special service.

Similar parades took place in other parts of the town, including Broad-water, where the service was held at Broadwater Baptist Church, and Goring, where the day culminated at St Mary's Church.

Worthing mayor and mayoress Eric and Liz Mardell attended the Broad-water service.

Services also took place at Goring URC and St Symphorian's Church, Durrington.
