Southwater home badly damaged by smoke
A Southwater house was badly damaged by smoke yesterday (Tuesday May 21).
Firefighters were called to the home in Corfe Close around 6pm.
A fire had started in the ground floor kitchen and five per cent of the building was damaged by fire.
However, smoke caused damage to the whole of the house.
A Red Cross support unit was in attendance.
