Rye Rotary’s Christmas spirit

As in past years the club has a float depicting the South Pole with a tableau of penguins and polar bears at play.

Collections organiser Richard Popple said: “his year the main beneficiary of the collections is the Oliver Curd Trust, with many other local charities expected to benefit also.

“People have been extremely generous this year and we are aiming at raising £1,000 in total from the four appearances of the float.

“I hope that many more visitors will come to our display and help us reach our target.”
