Rox bid for seafrontlicence

A formal licence application has been made to enable Rox to return to Bognor Regis seafront.

The Rox Music and Arts Organisation has asked Arun District Council for a premises licence to enable the popular festival to take place on Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22.

The Esplanade, The Steyne and Waterloo Square are the areas included in the application.

It features the performance of live music, recorded music, dance and the facilities for making music between 1pm and 11pm during that weekend.

If the licence is granted by the district council, it will enable the music and arts festival to return to its traditional home after six years elsewhere.

However, the event will form the opening weekend of a week-long music festival organised by Bognor Regis Town Council rather than enjoying its previous status of a separate occasion.
