The fundraising champions took on the challenge because they wanted to show support for a fellow pupil.

Matt Creese, a special support assistant at the school, said: “We wanted to raise money for this local hospice as they supported a pupil at our school, over the Christmas period, who unfortunately lost his baby brother. We had set ourselves a target of raising £1,000, however our fantastic pupils smashed this target and collectively raised £4259.06!”
