Despite home working, MPs have still been claiming thousands of pounds in expenses, with Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority figures for the 2020-21 financial year showing UK MPs have claimed more than £9 million as of 6 January. The JPIMedia Data Unit has analysed the figures to find out how much has been claimed by members in Chichester. The area’s two MPs between them spent £18,571.54 on 144 claims over the nine months. Below we have ranked the top eight biggest claims.
