Featuring more than 40 events in and around town, residents and tourists alike joined together to be a part of the ‘fringe’ style St Leonards Festival featuring entertainment around every corner.

Attractions included a buzzing market on Kings Road and the Grand Parade, headed by Pickled Image’s very own grandma and mayor Judy Rogers, followed by drummers, baton twirlers, children’s charity Gizmo, school groups and more.

Another festival highlight was the ‘The Aunties’ who gave out advice and kindness to curious passers-by, eager to engage in some Abba-inspired therapy.

More spectacles included Folkdance Remixed and Carre Curieux who delighted crowds on the seafront and a dog show with around 100 dogs.

One Facebook user commented: “Thanks for putting together a great line up! There was something for everyone. The Aunties were a treasure and the dog show was a blast!”
