Summer Concert: Don't forget this year's 'Cantabile, Songs for a Summer Evening' Concert on tomorrow, Saturday July 16. The concert takes place at St. Laurence Church, Guestling at 7pm. Tickets are £12, which includes refreshment with strawberries and cream, and can be obtained directly from the Church, or from from Gill Perry (814578) or Molly Townson (812520).

Church services: Services on Sunday July 17 – Book of Common Prayer, St Nicholas, Pett Level at 8am. Sunday Service at Pett Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Village Voices: On Monday July 18 the choir will meet at Pett Methodist Chapel at 7:30pm.

Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday July 19 Popp will feature Annie Cryer with Tai Chi. The session at Pett Village Hall runs from 10:30am to 2pm and includes a two- course lunch for just £5.

Pett Parish Council: Also on Tuesday July 19, Pett Parish Council meets at 7:30pm at Pett Village Hall.

Pett WI: On Wednesday July 20, Pett W.I. will be hearing from another local speaker, Diana Patten, founder of Headcorn aerodrome. Diana will be talking about her life and her book: Redhead in the Clouds. This promises to be yet another fascinating and informative talk. The meeting starts at 7pm at Pett Village Hall and visitors are most welcome.
