The limited-edition collection will be released at Castle Fine Art, on Nile Street, tomorrow (October 11) from 6pm, and on its website.

The prints are the fourth instalment in the deluxe editions Superheroes collection, created in collaboration with Marvel’s fine art publisher Choice Fine Art, and include four covers – of The Mighty Thor, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk and Black Panther.

There is also tetraptych cover, illustrating a battle between the X-Men and Magneto, marking the first time Castle Fine Art has released a Marvel graphic in landscape form.

Gallery manager Valerie Kaye said: “With Marvel having dominated the top 10 comic book sales chart in August 2019, it’s no surprise that there is a growing appetite for our Superheroes collection, which has proven to be one of our most popular series.

“We are expecting these new graphics to sell out in record time and would invite fans and collectors keen to get their hands on a piece of comic history to visit the gallery sooner rather than later.”

Stan Lee, who helped to create hundreds of Marvel characters and teams such as the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, the Avengers and the X-Men, died in November 2018, aged 95.

The signed limited-edition prints are available in boxed canvas and are priced at £3,950.
