Midhurst hotel fire: National media reporting that it was housing Ukrainian refugees

Although Sussex World has yet to receive official confirmation that refugees were staying there, according to the Evening Standard via the PA news agency a resident had claimed that Ukrainian ‘refugees’ had been at the historic hotel.

The fire has gained national interest with news sources such as ITV and The Mirror reporting on the incident.

Sussex Police and West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for more information.
