Roseland Infant head teacher Carol Wallis has been on a run and waved to 26 friends after her plans to run the London Marathon were postponed.

Carol ran to her nearest 26 friends on Facebook and had a photo taken. She said, “It was a lovely day for running and a big thank you to my friends who were waving at their front door.”

Carol will send money to Macmillan and will then continue her fundraising for the October London Marathon as planned and in memory of friend Nicki Brett who lost her cancer battle.
