Dogs Trust Shoreham dog of the week: Meet Jazz, a smart two-year-old in need of active owners
and live on Freeview channel 276
Staff at Dogs Trust Shoreham rehoming centre say Jazz has ‘a true terrier spirit’, noticeable in his playful and cheeky ways.
While he can be lots of fun, Jazz is also a complex character and will require plenty of input from his new owners.

Hide AdHe can be sensitive at times but is particularly worried when meeting strangers, so will need to start by meeting his new family on multiple occasions to begin building up a bond.
Enthusiastic owners who can meet his activity levels are sought, especially those who are keen to dedicate lots of their time to his ongoing training. Jazz loves to learn and is a real ‘foodie’, which is a great advantage when working with him, say his carers.
Jazz needs an adult-only home, with family who can offer him a varied lifestyle and plenty of outlets to express his energy. He would be best suited to a quieter home environment, where there is not too much going on around him, and a garden of his own is essential.
He will need to be the only pet but could possibly be walking buddies with other calm-natured canines.
The rehoming centre in Brighton Road is currently closed but people can still apply for dogs and the charity can start the adoption process. Visit www.dogstrust.org.uk/ for more information.
