Detailed plans of a 65-home development in Pagham have been submitted to Arun District Council.

The reserved matters application follows approval of outline plans for the homes at Church Barton House, Horns Lane, and gives details of access roads, landscaping, layout, appearance and open space.

A planning statement by Tetra Tech Planning for Hampshire Homes said outline plans were approved in September 2019 for the site 'which is the residential curtilge and paddock land at Church Barton House'.

The statement said the affordable units would be 'undistinguishable from the market units'.

The mix 'will provide a good range of house types and sizes to meet local needs and allow families to stay and move into the local area'.

On the eastern boundary is a second parcel of land that has approval for a mixed use development of up to 400 dwellings, a care home, local centre and public open space.

There would be a network of footpaths to 'enhance pedestrian connectivity' throughout the site and public open space towards the centre and south west.
